Meet Michael Kerzner

Duty, Honour and Service.

Since my first election as the proud MPP for York Centre in June 2022, I have devoted everything that I am for the betterment of a community my family and I proudly call home. Having also had the privilege of being re-elected on February 27, 2025, I regard this re-affirmation in representing York Centre at Queen’s Park as an honour of a lifetime.

I am driven each day to take the concerns of my constituents very seriously; to be accessible and to be a good listener. It is also about doing everything possible to assist. I believe in the concept of service over self, to be there when someone needs help. My constituency office is a reflection of me, and they have supported my role in outreach and engagement. I communicate with constituents in many ways; by email & social media, on the web, in print and simply by picking up the phone.

I am positive, optimistic and very hard working. I have brought many qualities with me on this journey including my own life’s experiences, my commitment of service and my courage to be fiercely protective of my constituents. Integrity and honesty are qualities that I hold close each and every day, and I am not afraid of pushing the boundaries to make a difference.

For almost thirty years, my wife Rochelle and our three children have forged many bonds and built wonderful friendships with our neighbours who in fact have become friends.  We stay in touch with them, and together as a family make all that surrounds us in York Centre part of our lives. It’s where we have raised our kids, sent them to school and camp, played in the parks, shop and prayed. This centrifugal force of our community is something we are very proud of and is at the centre of our lives.

I really enjoy attending our local events, which showcase our great diversity, something that has made York Centre an envy in the province. I always look forward to hearing from my constituents and ensuring that my MPP’s office is here to help!

I will always represent my community with confidence and constancy.

As I like to say, ‘I am staying in touch.’
