Summer Company Program Intake Launch!
- The Summer Company program provides students between the ages of 15 and 29 with at least 12 hours of business training, one‐on‐one mentoring and grants up to $3,000 to start a full-time business.
- Our government provided an additional investment of $1.5 million last year, helping an additional 250 young people start and grow a business. The investment increased total funding for the program to more than $4.7 million over two years.
- Applications are now officially open for students between the ages of 15-29 to apply. The deadline for applications is on May 16th, 2025.
- Ontario’s 47 Small Business Enterprise Centres provide entrepreneurs access to advisors, programs and services, as well as learning opportunities for small business owners specific to their region.
- 98% of businesses in Ontario are small and are the backbone of communities across the province, fueling the economy and employing nearly 2.5 million people.
- Our government is working around the clock to help small businesses and young entrepreneurs succeed because we see first-hand the impact they have. When Ontario’s small businesses prosper, local families thrive, and our economy continues to grow.
