Our government has completed all planned speed limit increases to 110 km/h, delivering on our commitment to make travel faster and more consistent for drivers across Ontario.
With today’s speed limit increases now in effect, over 900 kilometres of provincial highways have been increased to 110 km/h.
We have increased speed limits on key provincial highways across Eastern Ontario, Southwestern Ontario, Central Ontario, the Greater Toronto Area and Northern Ontario, including sections of Highways 7, 115, 400, 401, 402, 403, 404, 406, 407, 412, 416, 417 and 418 and the QEW.
