Seniors Drivers Licence Renewal Program

• Ontario is making it simpler for seniors to safely stay behind the wheel with a convenient way to renew their driver’s licence.
• Previously, drivers 80 years and over had to attend a separate location to complete vision and cognitive screening assessments and would subsequently have to renew their driver’s licence with ServiceOntario.
• Beginning in February, these drivers will be able to complete mandatory testing and driver’s licence renewal at ServiceOntario centres in one efficient visit, significantly expanding access and cutting wait times.
• This service will be available at all ServiceOntario centres by the end of March.
• Our government will continue to improve the customer experience while delivering the services Ontarians rely on.
