Remembrance Week November 5-11

  • This week, we honour the courage, valour and sacrifice of the heroes who have served, and continue to serve, Canada during times of conflict and peace.
  • There’s a cost to conflict. There’s of course a tremendous cost to those who serve, but there’s also a cost to civilians, family and friends of soldiers, as well as to our veterans.
  • Find a moment to show your gratitude – wear a Poppy, observe a moment of silence or attend a ceremony, and give direct thanks to a soldier or veteran.
  • You can also visit Ontario.ca/remember to learn more and join us in person or online for the Queen’s Park Remembrance Day ceremony on November 11 at 10:45 a.m.
