• Ontario’s electricity system is among the cleanest in the world, powered by a diverse supply mix, including nuclear, hydroelectric, renewables, natural gas, and biomass.
• With energy demand growing rapidly, our government is launching the largest competitive energy procurement in Ontario history – focused on affordable energy rates.

• This plan will expand access to affordable energy to families and businesses across Ontario while opposing the regressive Liberal carbon tax.

• Unlike the former Liberal government, which imposed energy projects at eight times the market price on unwilling communities, we are putting municipalities in the driver’s seat as we expand energy generation.
