Since 2018, Ontario has attracted more than $5 billion in food and beverage manufacturing investments, creating over 22,000 good-paying jobs across the province.
Ontario’s food and beverage manufacturing sector is an economic powerhouse, supporting more than 126,000 jobs and contributing over $13.6 billion in GDP to our economy every year.
These investments are helping Ontario grow and make more food right here at home, while building a more secure, sovereign and self-reliant agri-food sector.
Our government will continue to position Ontario as the best place for food businesses to invest, grow and create jobs.
