Ontario Welcomes $358 Million Natural Gas Investment in Southwest Region

• Today, we are taking a major step forward through a $358 million pipeline expansion by Enbridge Gas across Southwestern Ontario that will connect thousands of more residents and businesses to Ontario’s reliable, affordable, and clean energy system.

• The Panhandle Regional Expansion Project will create 7,000 jobs and enable $4.5 billion in job-creating investment opportunities across Ontario.

• While Ontario has one of the cleanest and most reliable electricity grids in the entire world, our continued focus is to increase energy generation to fuel our growth and future prosperity. 

• Our government will continue to support our fast-growing economy, build new homes, and make life more affordable for Ontario families.
