Ontario Taking Tolls Off Highway 407 East

• As part of our plan to protect Ontario, we are lowering costs for hard-working families and putting real money back into people’s pockets.
• Starting today, June 1, we are permanently removing tolls from the provincially owned section of Highway 407 from Brock Road to Highway 35/115, saving daily commuters $7200 every year.
• This follows the government’s previous removal of tolls from Highways 412 and 418 in Durham and builds on our record of making life more affordable for drivers, including by permanently cutting the gas tax, eliminating license plate renewal fees and stickers and freezing fees for driver’s licences and Ontario Photo Cards.
