Ontario Municipal Partnership Fund Expansion

  • The NDP-backed Liberals left our municipalities underfunded and failed to support them as the need for housing and infrastructure continued to grow.
  • There has been no stronger partner for municipalities than our government. We have been there for our 444 municipal partners with record investments in infrastructure, healthcare and social services.
  • Through 2024 Fall Economic Statement: Building Ontario for You, we are increasing the Ontario Municipal Partnership Fund (OMPF) to $600 million by 2026, investing an additional $100 million over the next two years.
  • Our government is providing our municipal partners the tools they need to deliver the critical services the people, families and businesses of Ontario need.
