Ontario Lands New Nuclear Opportunities with Trade Mission to Poland and Estonia

• Under the leadership of Premier Doug Ford, Ontario is once again on the map as a global clean energy superpower.
• To support jobs back home, our government secured a $40 million agreement to assist in the development of a small modular reactor (SMR) in Warsaw, Poland. 
• We signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding with Estonia to leverage Ontario’s clean energy expertise and expand emissions-free nuclear energy in the Baltic region, with a focus on exporting small modular reactors. 
• Our government remains committed to a free and democratic Ukraine, which is why we attended the Rebuild Ukraine Conference and announced nearly $5M in energy equipment to support grid stability in Ukraine this winter.  
• We’re promoting made-in-Ontario technology and exporting small modular reactors to global markets, securing deals, and delivering real returns for the taxpayers of Ontario.
• Unlike the Liberals, our government firmly believes that technology, not taxation, will drive emissions down and support jobs and growth in Ontario.
