• In 2024, the event attracted over 150,000 fans and contributed more than $50 million to Ontario’s economy.

• Our investment will help enhance the event experience, attract more international visitors, and generate significant economic benefits for local businesses.
• By supporting this iconic Canadian event, our government is protecting jobs, driving economic growth through sport tourism, and strengthening Ontario’s reputation as a top destination for world-class sporting experiences.
• Last year, our government invested over $54 million in the sport and recreation industry across the province to support grassroots sports, promote healthy and active lifestyles and strengthen local economies.
