Ontario Boosting Efforts to Combat Bullying and Support Student Mental Health
- Our priority is and continues to be supporting Ontario’s families by breaking down barriers so students can get back to basics and focus on what matters most – strengthening literacy and STEM in the classroom.
- That is why our government is investing $4.6 million in funding to school boards and organizations to promote safe school environments through programming, capacity building and development of resources and training to combat bullying and cyber bullying.
- This funding will support the following community partners:
- Big Brothers and Big Sisters
- Roots of Empathy
- Kids Help Phone
- Egale
- Child Development Institute
- Principal Association Projects
- Victim Services Toronto
- pflag Canada
- Victim Services Durham Region
- George Hull Centre for Children and Families
- Through these historic investments, the government of Ontario continues to support a safe and healthy learning environment where every child can reach their full potential without fear or hesitation.
