National Volunteer Week April 19 to 25

Our government is recognizing the outstanding contributions of nearly 5,000 volunteers at 30 ceremonies across the province.

Volunteers are a vital part of our communities and touch our lives in so many. We are proud to honour their efforts through the Ontario Volunteer Service Awards.

Ontario deeply appreciates the invaluable contributions of our volunteers and actively encourages others to follow in their footsteps.

Our government offers several awards to recognize outstanding volunteers who go above and beyond in the service of their communities, this includes the Ontario Volunteer Service Awards, June Callwood Outstanding Achievement Award for Voluntarism, the Ontario Medal for Young Volunteers, and the Lieutenant Governor’s Community Volunteer Award for Students.
