Egyptian Heritage Month is a time to recognize and celebrate Egyptian Ontarian’s contributions to
our society, culture, and history.

• The Legislative Assembly of Ontario passed Bill 106 (tabled by MPP Sheref Sabawy) in 2019,
proclaiming July as Egyptian Heritage Month.
