Business and Worker Supports

• Our government is taking immediate action to protect Ontario against economic uncertainty by providing $11 billion in urgent relief and supports for workers and businesses impacted by tariffs.
• To support businesses and help keep workers on the job, the province is deferring select provincial taxes for six months, providing approximately $9 billion in urgent cash flow to about 80,000 businesses. The province is also issuing a further $2 billion rebate for safe employers through WSIB in addition to the previous $2 billion rebate they have already started to receive since earlier this year.
• Our government is ready to do whatever is necessary to protect Ontario. We will continue to safeguard our economy by breaking down internal trade barriers, accelerating development approvals, diversifying our trade partners and equipping our businesses to compete globally.
