I attended Downsview Park to celebrate this year’s Canada Day celebrations. It was a touching experience to see so many Canadians from different backgrounds and walks of life! From conversing with families that just came to Canada, to those who just received their citizenship, to Filipino volunteers cooking delicious food, and exchanging greetings with my counterparts in the municipal and federal government as well as community partners right here in York-Centre, it was a day to cherish our country. Our diversity is our strength, and I am excited for all the work to be done ahead!
